FRANSOR INDUSTRIE offers a wide range of alloys based on precious, semi-precious or base metals and ensures the transformation of its alloys into a wide range of standard and customized products.

FRANSOR INDUSTRIE has extensive experience in the processing and use of pure or alloyed Indium (wires, ribbons, preforms, etc.).

FRANSOR also has a wide range of silver-based products (ultra thin tapes, wires, etc.) for brazing.

Brazing alloys or pure gold.

Base metals for tin, indium and lead based solders in many forms, especially for electronics and electrical engineering.

Fusible alloys with strict temperature characteristics.

Our workshops

Several workshops are available to our customers: a foundry with several low and high temperature furnaces (induction furnace, continuous vacuum casting furnace, etc.), a transformation workshop (rolling mills, wire drawing machines, straightening machines, presses, etc.), a mechanical workshop (conventional and numerical lathes, grinding machines, sandblasting machines, etc.), a screw-cutting workshop, a laser cutting workshop, a coatings and surface treatments workshop, and a control workshop (hardness testing machine, profile projectors, binoculars, etc.).

Coating and surface treatment

FRANSOR INDUSTRIE uses the deposition technique which is also called electroplating. It can be applied to all kinds of materials and alloys.

The electroplating coatings most commonly used at FRANSOR INDUSTRIE are gold and silver plating (other coatings are also available). They represent a relatively small thickness contribution, most of the time a few µm (rarely more than 1 mm).

These treatments include surface preparations by chemical means: degreasing, washing and/or by mechanical means: sandblasting.

One of the advantages of surface coating is to improve weldability and electrical conductivity. The coating improves resistance to corrosion, wear, abrasion and friction. It improves the physical and/or chemical properties and can provide a thermal barrier or radiation insulation effect.

Medical

FRANSOR INDUSTRIE was the first company to introduce the use of high-tech dental alloys in France, allowing more and more aesthetic dental work. At that time, the use of such precious alloys was hardly developed in France.

FRANSOR INDUSTRIE offers a wide range of products manufactured in these workshops (pins, filoplast, etc.). Since November 2018, we have consolidated our dental activity, offering a wide choice of micro-tools, crucibles, titanium wires, polishers, brushes, etc.
